Setting up an online donations page is quick, easy and
secure. It's a positive way to remember a loved one whilst raising
money for Cancer Research UK's vital research.
By following
our simple instructions you can create a page personal to you. You
can then email all your friends and family to invite them to visit
the page and to make a donation in memory.
Or if you would like more information about Donate in memory, please see below.
What can I do on a personal page?
When creating a page you can:
- Write your own message in memory of a loved
one. This will be displayed to everyone visiting the page
- add your own photo or select one of ours
- choose to display the total amount donated
- choose to display a list of donors.
Can I change the page later?
Once your page is published you can use the
administration area to change a number of things:
- make changes to the page
- send more emails
- view condolence messages that friends may have left
- extend the length of time that the page is
published
- close the page altogether
- change your password or email address.
How long does it take to create a
page?
It should only take about 10 minutes
to create your page. The process is broken down into five simple
steps.
Once you have completed your page it will be submitted to us for
authorisation. Our aim is, where possible, to publish your page
within two working days and we will let you know as soon as it is
ready.
Cancer Research UK retains full editorial control
over the material published on these pages and may edit or remove
content when it is deemed appropriate to do so.
What about security?
You will be
using a secure connection in order to create your page and a
password-protected account will be created in order for you to make
any changes.
What information will I need?
Our checklist document provides you with a list of all the information you need to create a page. You might like to print it out before you begin. This can be particularly useful if you are creating a page on someone else's behalf.

The checklist is saved as a PDF file. You will need Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to view this document. You can download Acrobat Reader FREE of charge from the Adobe website.
