My Story

Emm's smile lit up our lives and we want to take forward that light in a positive way to hopefully make it possible in the future for more brain tumour patients to have a light at the end of their tunnel. In memory of a dear daughter, sister, auntie,neice, friend and also, as she would love to be remembered, a teacher of English. TARGET £ 20,000 COLLECTED £ 15,585 WE CAN MAKE A DFFERENCE, NOT FOR THOSE LIKE EMM WHOS JOURNEY IS OVER , NOT FOR THOSE WHO ARE ON THEIR JOURNEY NOW BUT FOR THOSE WE LOVE WHOSE JOURNEY IS STILL TO COME. THIS IS AN INVESTMENT IN OUR FUTURE I am planning one last major fund raiser fund raiser March 18 - June 8th A TOUGH JOURNEY A 300 MILE WALK / TAKING 22DAYS / A TENT ON MY BACK / 65 YEARS OLD HELP ME MAKE EVERY STEP COUNT This is an enormous journey for me but not as enormous as the journey taken by every person diagnosed with cancer. Liquid Nurafen and Compeed blister plasters are at the ready! Total £1,200 The Virtual Channel Swim on 17 January 2011 raised £315 £47.95 gift aid via this memory page.Total 3,000 The 24 hr 3 Peak Challenge on 25 June 2011 raised £325 £91.67 gift aid via this memory page.
